The Role
- •We need a researcher-engineer hybrid to lead our Applied AI team. You will be responsible for the "brain" of our agents, ensuring they are smart enough to plan, reliable enough to trust, and fast enough to be viable.
What You'll Do
- •Experiment: Run weekly tests on prompting, tool-use, and multi-agent coordination.
- •Evaluate: Build the benchmarks and datasets that define "success" for autonomous business agents.
- •Optimize: Obsess over reducing failure modes, latency, and inference costs.
- •Research: Push the state-of-the-art in agent memory and long-horizon planning.
- •Mentor: Set the standard for code quality and experiment design for a small, senior team.
What You've Done
- •5–8+ years in Applied AI/ML or Research Engineering.
- •Deep experience with the modern LLM stack (Prompting, RAG, Tool Calling).
- •Published relevant research papers.
- •Taken research from "Paper to Production."
- •Built evaluation pipelines for complex, multi-step tasks.
